The Old Vicarage is inspected by the ISI (the Independent Schools Inspectorate), which is a body approved by the Secretary of State for Education and Skills for the purpose of inspecting schools under Section 162 of the Education Act 2002.
When we were last inspected, in June 2010, the ISI’s report of the Old Vicarage summarised that:

“Pupils achieve excellent levels of skill, knowledge and understanding in academic subjects, the wider curriculum and extra-curricular activities."
"The girls are highly articulate, enthusiastic learners who listen to each other’s points of view and are proud of their school. It provides a good, broad education; it makes learning enjoyable and its pupils achieve well, both academically and in other areas. The school takes very good care of its pupils and they enjoy all aspects of their school life.”
