ISI Report and our Headmistress' Response
The Old Vicarage is inspected by the ISI (the Independent Schools Inspectorate), which is a body approved by the Secretary of State for Education and Skills for the purpose of inspecting schools under Section 162 of the Education Act 2002.
When we were last inspected, in 2003, the ISI’s report of the Old Vicarage summarised that:
“It provides a good, broad education; it makes learning enjoyable and its pupils achieve well, both academically and in other areas. The school takes very good care of its pupils and they enjoy all aspects of their school life.”
