The Summer Fair was fantastic. I kept on winning prizes on the tombola and the inflatable slide was excellent. Some of the teachers even had a go!

Recent Events
The Friends of the Old Vicarage has been very active in the past year organising events and contributing to the advancement of the Old Vicarage. Successful fundraisers included a Quiz Night, a Children's Christmas Party, a Mums' Meals in Heels Evening, Scavenger Hunt and, of course, the Summer Fete.
Additional money was raised through the sale of school swimming towels and gift wrap. In addition, it is with thanks to Zanny Lewis (ex co-chair) of the Friends) that second hand uniform is available to purchase by request or at sales that are arranged on a termly basis. A proportion of proceeds from these sales are donated to the Friends.
Quiz Night
Congratulations to Crystal Brook, a team of year 2 parents, who recently won the Friends of the Old Vicarage annual quiz night. An amazing knowledge of James Bond actors and title theme singers saw them streak ahead of The Debutantes and The Raconteurs! Our Quiz Master, Gareth, did a fabulous job on an entertaining evening which saw parents and teachers singing along to popular songs and even dancing up on stage in an effort to be awarded bonus points.
Thank you to the teachers and parents who attended. Your generosity is much appreciated. The monies raised will be put towards various projects and items agreed with Mrs Linthwaite. Thanks also to the parents from years two and five who successfully managed the bar and the food on the night.
AGM
At our recent AGM attended by parents, teachers and governors, the outgoing co-chair, Lucinda Edge, detailed the funds raised by the Friends of the Old Vicarage over the past 12 months and exactly how these funds were distributed to help your girls and the school.
The Chairman of the Governors, Mr Hearson and the headmistress, Mrs Linthwaite, both spoke to thank the Friends for the fabulous fundraising activities that have been performed on behalf of the girls.
The AGM was also a great chance to socialize over a glass of wine or two, accompanied by the fabulous canapé’s provided by the form reps.
