ICT

 

ICT at the Old Vicarage is taught as a discreet subject in our networked ICT suite and also incorporated into other lessons by means of interactive whiteboard facilities and computers in each classroom. All the girls, from Reception onwards, use ICT and from Year Three they are allocated an email address to help with the continuous development of their confidence and capability.

 

 

Before leaving us, every girl will be knowledgeable about Microsoft Office, able to touch type, competent in using internet search engines and, crucially, able to use information in a discriminating and effective way.

 

The other core subjects on the Old Vicarage curriculum are English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Religious Education, French, Art and Design Technology along with library studies.
